Happy Mother's Day!!!

Just a little note to wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day!!! Including my own very special and wonderful Mother....who right now is getting everything ready for everyone else!!!! We are going for a BBQ and fun relaxing time at Grandma and Papa's. I don't think my mom has been relaxing all week but that's what Disneyland is for and she knows after today it will be smooth sailing! I'm sure she is counting down the hours.

My Grandma T. called in sick and when the kids and I called her she sounded terrible!!! Glad she is staying home and keeping whatever she has away from us but at the same time we will miss her.

Kyle made me breakfast today. Waffles and cereal.....guess since that is what a 13 year old boy would eat is what I got! He has also promised to be a guest blogger later today so look for that too! He helped me make the cookie bouquets we made for everyone and they look great so pics will be posted later. I think he has delivered almost all of them.

Savannah and Daddy washed my disgusting car which ahs needed a bath for a while. I love having a clean car but hate to wash it myself and am too cheap to go to the car wash! ha!! Maybe if they have a coupon I might think about it. Kids also got me a couple of new shirts and a sweater set!! So cute and wonderful bright colors that I love!!!!

Okay off to my mom's I go.......Yummy food and fun ahead!

HAPPY MOTHER"S DAY!!!!

Signs that you are a mom......

1. When you have to remove an unpopped popcorn kernel from someone's nose!!!!!

2. When you have to check over each homework assignment every night because your 13 year old can't remember why he did not turn his homework in.

See fun and games here at the Banks house!!!! I am ready for them all to go to bed.....and hopefully, the magical cleaning fairies will come and clean up my kitchen and house.....maybe they can do some washing, folding and putting away of clothes too......I know that is a mom fantasy island but we all need a dream!

Man am I behind on posting stuff........Here is some Easter pics.....yes, it is May and Easter was April 12th but I have a lot going on. Also found out the week before Easter I will be losing my job! After 18 years there it is a shock but we are in a holding pattern until someone actually buys the company or something else drastic happens. Weird and a crappy time to happen but I also look at it a little bit like a fun challenge.....what will I do next and will I have more fun? What sort of job do I look for? I have figured out I am way over qualified for some stuff and way under qualified for others. Not sure what the future brings but I have saved some money and know we will be okay for a while until hopefully........something turns up. For now I am working and will work as long as they allow me to until something else is offered. It is a daily chore to look up what is available but also opening me up to other opportunities. Would be a great time to start party or wedding planning if the economy wasn't so terrible! Thinking about teaching too to have the summers and breaks off with Kyle. Savannah will be in school before I blink my eye too so that is another consideration.
It was a great Easter day to share food and fun with the family. We ate tons of ham at Grandma and Papa's house and the kids enjoyed the Easter egg hunt. Uncle Ray and Papa built the Pirate Ship that I found as a bargain online. It is cute and shoots out balls....which are probably already lost at this point. hahaha I think the men had more fun putting it together then the little kids had playing it the first time.
I will try and catch up some more stuff so we can move forward in May!!
