Kyle had his Troop's Court of Honor in Saratoga near Walden West (where he went to science camp in 5th grade) last Saturday. Here he is with the Be Prepared Sign.
Savannah wanted to explore as soon as we got there. Since it was going to be a little while til lunch, we took a walk to check out some nature! Here is a giant tree root that was on the path. Must have been a tree that was here for a long time since it was so big.
Walking on rocks near the pond. Savannah told me you need to put out your arms to make sure you don't fall in the water! Pretty smart for a 2 year old!

Sittting on the rocks and thinking about where we should go next.......she decided to just follow the path and see what we could find.
The summer camp group! Kyle was the only kid in all of camp to complete the 1 mile lake swim. Some of the other boys tried it but dropped out. GO KYLE!!! He also was able to collect the rest of the his patches from summer camp. Kyle was also awarded the rank of first class. He is on his way to getting his eagle scout in a couple of years. He has star, life, and eagle to go!

My boy who is growing up so fast. Glad he will still pose and give me a smile when I ask for one!

Brother and Sister....so proud of these kids and so happy they like to spend time together!!!!! Even though I am opposed to nature and would prefer to spend time in a nice indoor mall it was a nice way to see all the hard work that Kyle and the other scouts put in give them something back in return. At least they didn't make me sleep outside or use an outhouse!!!!

Papa and I are so proud of you. All your swimming in the pool helped you to complete the 1 mile swim at camp. We are so excited about all your hard work in boy scouts. Can believe that you are so close to becoming an Eagle Scout. Keep up the wonderful work that you have been doing. You make our family proud.
