We went to the park to celebrate Rebecca's 9th Birthday. It was HOT!!! The little kids had a great time on Joseph's new scooter and playing in any puddle of water they could find!
We ate hamburgers and hotdogs BBQ'd by Clark and Michael. Rebecca swung in a tree and opened her gifts. She got karate lessons from us and Uncle Scott. She also got the traditional case of Top Ramen from me! I think I will have to give it to her for every birthday and celebration until she gets married! Hope her future husband will love it as much as she does. This was just the start of our busy weekend. We had Clark's company picnic at Vasona on Saturday and it was even HOTTER! The kids went thru a ton of drinks and enjoyed the balloon lady, jump house and pinata! Kinda a low turnout for this year but I think it was the weather and time of year. Lots of work for Clark!!!!!
On Sunday, my mom and I went to the bridal shower for Catalina. I thought we were going to die about 10,000 times on the way to the shower. Nothing like crossing Highway 17 and then traveling 4 curvy miles on a one lane road! Learned some intersting facts about the wedding and my brother....wish I still knew the person that other people described to me. We survived!
No pictures of the rest of the weekend....not in the mood to take the camera out.
My mom and dad took off with the little kids this morning for Disneyland! We will join them with Rebecca and Kyle on Friday night. This is what my mom wanted to do for her birthday and since I know she will not read the blog until Monday....remember to wish her a Happy 60th on Monday!!!!
