Wall Drug again...

Joseph and Savannah had the best time watching this water squirt out randomly. Scott and I had the best time watching them and laughing about when Joseph was going to lean into the water to check out where it came from.....sure enough less then 5 minutes and his head was soaked. It was a nice warm day so they had fun. This was a first visit for Michael and his family and they enjoyed checking out the site.
Kyle had seen the mining tourist trap on our first visit and he had primed Rebecca to do it too. They would not share a bag so they each bought a $10 bag of dirt and then put it in the screen thing and washed it to see what they could find.
Rebecca cleaning her dirt and seeing the treasures.
Papa helps Savannah have a turn and she found a heart shaped rock.
Here is a sample of what they got. I think they both ended up with the same sort of rocks and one arrowhead. I ended up carrying these wet rocks in my backpack for another day until I figured out why I kept having a wet spot at the bottom!

We ended up eating lunch at the Wall Drug dining room. It was again...midwest food! I had the roast beef plate which was roast beef with gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, and a roll. I don't remember what Clark ate but I know he finished off my dinner plate and I know Scott had the buffalo hot dog. Another way to eat buffalo. We also had a piece of pie. Michael and his family wanted to shop but we had already done that while waiting for them to catch up to us so off we went towards Mitchell and the Corn Palace.
